Following the footsteps of the knights of the Order
The knights of the Order, the knights of St. John, had owned a manorial house in Adenau since 1162. This homestead was located next to the Catholic church St. Johannes der Täufer. One part of this building complex, the commandery, exists to this day. This could be an ideal place to start your trip into the past.
