The geological trail invites you to take a little journey through the geological history around Schuld of the last 400 million years. Along well-marked hiking trails young and old can explore the origins of the rock and the influence of geological structures on today’s landscape. Geological structures show interesting aspects of the many different processes that have taken place over the course of earth’s history and are also representative of large areas of the northern Eifel region and the Rheinisches Schiefergebirge mountains.
