A great many hiking trails run through wide and gentle valleys and up to the peaks of the mountains. Here you can truly explore nature!
There is an almost endless variety, from the main hiking trails of the Eifelverein association, the regional route suggestions in the broader surroundings and the locally signposted trails.
You will be spoilt for choice. The regional and hiking associations and the tourist information centres and offices are always happy to help.

Combining the fun of hiking with interesting information, that was the intention behind these themed hiking trails. All three routes are well signposted, and at any time of the year they take you to the charming valleys and hills of our Hocheifel landscape and provide insights into the history and prehistoric development of our volcanic region.
